You can gain confidence and experience by pushing yourself beyond your usual comfort zone and gain life experience and skills sought after by potential employers.

Open to 91导航 students, our university-wide Global Graduate Programme helps you build the knowledge and skills necessary for today's international workplace. Eligible students create their own programme and select from a range of modules with an emphasis on the central themes of intercultural competence and communication.
Any extracurricular activities you participate in on the programme, especially if based on the central themes, can be used as evidence for the RED Global Engagement Award, a certificate highly valued by employers.
If your schedule limits your ability to get involved with the Global Graduate programme, 91导航 (UoR) students can complete a specially created Future Learn course - '.听Created by academics and students from UoR UK, Malaysia and partner institutions in Africa and China, this course can also count towards your听RED Global Engagement award as well as equipping you with skills to help you make a difference in today鈥檚 interconnected world. The 91导航 Experience and Development (RED) Global Engagement Award is one of the 91导航鈥檚 Official Skills Awards. It is an opportunity for those currently studying at the 91导航 to gain awareness of the wider world, with the purpose of becoming more globally engaged.
On achieving this award, you will be able to demonstrate your awareness of being globally engaged, which many companies are actively seeking, whilst committing to making the world a better place for all.

Whether you are an international student looking to work in the UK or a UK student interested in working abroad, the Careers Service offers information, resources and support to help you explore your options and start your global career research.
Working or gaining experience in another country can help you develop existing skills, gain new ones, and broaden your experience, whilst adding valuable international experience to your CV.
