Welcome to People Development - the home of staff learning and development for the 91µ¼º½. People Development aims to provide a wide range of learning opportunities to help you and your teams to reach your full potential whilst working at the University.

We offer a wide range of learning and development opportunities including classroom and online training, tailored development support, apprenticeships, research staff development, leadership and management development, coaching and mentoring.

The University's Leadership Principles - 3Rs

Almost all of us, whether or not we have a formal leadership or management role within the University, collaborate and work with colleagues to make things happen. The 3Rs is a set of guiding principles for all staff on how to successfully achieve our goals in way that is supportive of people.

University-Wide Open Programme

The open programme consists of a fantastic range of classroom based, online & hybrid development opportunities that run throughout the year. Apprenticeships for Staff
